I purchased the awnings primarily for "looks" for my older style mobile home, but they have proved to be very beneficial in providing needed shade in the early afternoon hours in my living room area. The installation was easy and took minimal time, Assembly was pretty "straight forward" with easy to follow instructions provided. After doing my own paint scheme to blend with my coach, I am very happy with the results, and have had numerous compliments on my new awning additions. Being "light weight" they seem (by my standards) to be very durable, and strong for what my needs are. Well pleased with my purchase.

I purchased two of your 49" Economy awnings for our basement doors to protect them from Sun and weather. I shopped around and found General Awnings had the best prices. I chose Economy awnings because of their maintenance-free aluminum construction. My awnings were shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. They do require assembly, but the step-by-step instructions are easy to follow. It took about an hour to assemble and install each awning, working alone, and they turned out great. They look nice and are very sturdy.

I am very happy with the product. It was inexpensive and relatively easy to install. I needed something to protect my exposed door from rain and this awning has fit the bill so far. The instructions could have been a little clearer but I was able to lay the awning out on the floor ahead of time according to the instructions which made the install easier. I was pleasantly surprised that the awning withstood strong gusts of wind from a recent hurricane. I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends.
