How to select your Houstonian® Large Window / Entry Awning

1) Make sure that you have sufficient mounting space for your awning.

4" minimum mounting space F is required above a window or in-swinging door.
For mounting purposes, every awning is 4.5" wider than the window size it represents. (Example: a 3-foot Houstonian® awning is actually 40.5" wide)
Except for entries with out-swinging doors, the drop A is a personal preference. Hint: The greater the drop, the more energy savings but less interior light.
For out-swinging doors, make sure that you have sufficient space above the door to be able to open the door completely after the awning is installed.

Note that the actual awning width is 4.5" greater than the width in the menu below.
Projection is the distance the awning projects out from the building.
