How to select your New Yorker® Series Large Low Eaves Awning
1) Make sure that you have sufficient mounting space for your awning.
- 4" minimum mounting space F is required above a window or in-swinging door.
- For mounting purposes, every awning is 4.5" wider than the window size it represents. (Example: a 3-foot New Yorker® awning is actually 40.5" wide)
- Except for entries with out-swinging doors, the drop A is a personal preference. Hint: The greater the drop, the more energy savings but less interior light.
- For out-swinging doors, the maximum allowed drop A is 10".
2) Select the awning size from the drop-down menu to the right.
- Note that the actual awning width is 4.5" greater than the width in the menu below.
- Note that the height H includes a 6" solid valance.
- Projection is the distance the awning projects out from the building.
- Custom widths are available. Contact us if you need width that is not listed.
3) Select the fabric color or pattern below that best complements your home.
4) Signage is available with Beauty-Mark® fabrics, by selecting the appropriate sign dimensions from the drop-down menu.
