Shipping & ReturnsShipping Policy We offer free ground shipping on all our products to the 48 contiguous US states. For expedited delivery or shipping outside the 48 contiguous states, please contact us describing your order. We will determine if such delivery is possible and respond with a quote. Most orders ship in about 8 days and take 3-7 days from the shipping date for standard ground delivery. Depending on the product model, it may take longer during periods of high demand. Large items that do not qualify for standard ground shipping require 8-10 business days from the shipping date for home delivery. Delivery to remote locations may take longer. Smaller packages will be delivered to your door. Large items are shipped by trucking companies that are responsible for moving your order to the end of the truck ONLY (curbside delivery). Please be ready to unload your order, which will likely require the help of an additional person. Upon request, the carrier may provide assistance under its own discretion for a FEE designated by the carrier. Carefully count the components of the order and match the actual number received with the number listed on the delivery receipt. Note any shortages clearly on both the driver's copy and your copy of the delivery receipt. Have the driver sign as well. Carefully check each package for visible damage. All damage to either packing or contents MUST BE CLEARLY NOTED at the time of delivery on the delivery receipt and signed by the driver. Notify both the carrier and General Awnings about any shortages or damages within 24 hours of receipt. Return Policy We are committed to your satisfaction and will do our best to help you if you need to return a product. However, due to the fact that our products are produced by a number of manufacturers with different return policies, and because most products are custom made, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to return your product. If you need to return a product that was not received damaged or defective and was not shipped in error, please contact us as soon as possible. If a return authorization is given, a restocking fee will be charged. Any shipping charges are not refundable. Orders that received discounted or free shipping will be charged the shipping discount or full initial shipping cost respectively. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from us before returning any product. Products returned without an RMA number will not be accepted. Products must be returned in the same condition that they were received and shipped back in their original packaging with all contents and all paperwork. To request an RMA number, please contact us indicating your order number and the reason for your return. If you need to return a product because it was received damaged or defective, we reserve the right to replace only the damaged or defective parts. You will not be charged for delivery of such replacement parts or replacement product. We will let you know whether you need to return the damaged or defective parts, or the entire product. You will not be charged for their return. If we or the manufacturer made a mistake in filling your order, you may exchange your product for the correct product or request a full refund including the shipping charges, if any. |
