Found the 3500 Series Window Awning surprisingly easy to assemble and to install. Everything went together just as the easy to follow instructions said it would. Very pleased with everything from ordering on line, receiving all items in a timely fashion and with the final installed product. Will use GeneralAwnings.com again and would recommend them to others.

Our opinion is that we totally love the awning. It took about 1.5 hours to put together and install, mainly because I did have to work on a 8' ladder to install it, thus was doing a lot of up and down on that ladder for measuring and setup, before I drilled any holes.

I think the instructions were more than adequate, but I do recall that there were a couple of areas they could have been much clearer. That said, I do not remember which ones in particular at this time. In any event, the quality is superb, we love the appearance from both inside the room and from the outside.

The quality was better than I expected. The awning was special ordered as mounting space was limited and it fit like it was supposed to.
